Summer of books

More accurately, it was a year of books. With STEP INTO THE SUNLIGHT releasing in paperback this spring, I spent an awful lot of time at book events. All good. All fun. I talked about the books I love. I met readers who love books. I met people who (can you believe this?) couldn’t wait to meet me. I’m so grateful to the booksellers and libraries who made space for my books and for these events, including Sundial Books, The Greyhound, Caprichos Books, Backwater Books, Park Books, Barnes & Noble, Bethany Beach Books, and North Point Library (Baltimore County Library).

Thank you, readers. The stories I write come from my heart, my memories, my dreams. I write them because the characters insist that I do–but also because I love sharing them with you.

Here are scenes from this year’s book events. (I still have one left to attend.

From the top–not in chronological order…Social media from the Baltimore Book Festival, a new reader with my author friends and me at Caprichos, my book on the shelves at Sundial (Step into the Sunlight is there now, too.), my books at Park Books, Spark in the Park, Maria Morales, a reporter at WMAR-TV2 News and me filming a segment at the Annapolis Inn, scenes from Bethany Beach Books, two articles about my books in Ocean City area newspapers, scenes from The Greyhound in Berlin, a Maryland Romance Writers signing at Barnes and Noble, a panel at North Point Library with M.K. Kate and other MRW writers.
