INN BY THE LAKE book launch

I have my own stack of titles. The newest is INN BY THE LAKE, a story of love, an old inn, and what history can teach a couple of workaholics.

Time to launch my first sweet romance, INN BY THE LAKE! I will take up my pen to sign the fresh, new paperback edition of my story set in Western Maryland Saturday, April 3, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Greyhound, an independent bookstore in Berlin, Md. (just about as far from Western Maryland as you can get and still be in the state).

My book signing takes place during “America’s Coolest Small Town’s” Spring Celebration of Hope. I’m humbled to say I have to compete with visits by the Eastern Bunny and a town-wide Easter Egg hunt. Well, it is the day before Easter, after all.

But I look forward to visiting with people curious about my book.

And I love visiting The Greyhound. When second edition of my Civil War-era historical fiction DIVIDED LOYALTIES was launched in 2019, I brought my cover designer Megan Tilghman with me to sign books. It was a festive day.

Friends and family stopped by on launch day for my new edition of DIVIDED LOYALTIES at The Greyhound. Wasn’t that lovely?

I’ve returned to speak about both of my historical novels to the bookstore’s book group. It’s a real thrill to talk with people who know my book as well as I do. The ladies had so many questions and interesting insights about my stories.

If you happen to be in the area of Ocean City—or are interested in a day trip if it’s a pretty April Saturday, please stop by. If you’d like a signed copy of my book and you’re nowhere near the beach that day, drop me a line. Id be happy to sign one for you.

Berlin’s town officials recommend an Easter Bonnet if you visit for their Spring Celebration, which runs 10 to p.m. Doesn’t that sound like a charming idea? Masks, however, are not optional in these covid-19 times.

Hope to see you April 3.
