One of my critique partners said she nearly spit out her tea when she read a Star Wars quote in an early draft of INN BY THE LAKE. That’s when I knew I’d hit on something I wanted to keep.

You’ll find the quote as well as references to some of my favorite movies, from It’s a Wonderful Life and Casablanca to Psycho and anything with Tom Hanks or Meg Ryan.

To introduce my book—due out in paperback later this month—I’ve started a movie quiz over on Instagram. I’m mktilghman there.
