DAN AND JESSICA’s first online encounter is not the meet-cute romance novels are made of.

First, Dan mispronounces Jessica’s school’s name and then she corrects him. Rather harshly, he thinks.

Thinking Dan’s rather callous, Jessica has already decided she doesn’t like him. It doesn’t matter. Their editor assigns them to work as a team on their first story on the pandemic that has them working from home.
