Writer’s workshop with Grace Burrowes

StoryCraftingBECAUSE OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, THE MARYLAND ROMANCE WRITERS HAVE POSTPONED THIS WORKSHOP.

DETAILS WILL BE ANNOUNCED WHEN IT IT RESCHEDULED. SORRY FOR SUCH DISAPPOINTING NEWS

I knew our writing community was lucky to arrange with author Grace Burrowes, a best-selling writer of historical fiction and romance, to speak during a day long Master Class–but now that I’ve found her books, wow. I mean, wow! This is going to be a great workshop for writers in all genres.

A Master Class in Story Crafting will be offered in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Saturday, April 18, 9:30 to 4 p.m. by the Maryland Romance Writers.

If you think you’d like to write a novel, any kind of novel,—or write a better novel—and you can get to Baltimore that day, sign up. You’ll be so glad you did.

I’m in the middle of her charming WHEN A DUCHESS SAYS I DO, and let me tell you, I saw right away that she knows how to craft a story so that readers can’t help but stay for another page and then another until they’ve missed an appointment and are late getting dinner on the table. SO good. So GOOD.

All the details–from registration to workshop location to the most affordable pricing for this great program—are here. Feel free to share this information with everyone you know, too. We rented a big room because we know lots of people are going to want to hear what Ms. Burrowes has to say.

Please let us know if you have need of special assistance to attend our workshop. We want to welcome everyone to participate.

Maryland Romance Writers’ (MRW) is committed to: creating and maintaining a safe space for our attendees and presenters, supporting diverse author voices and diversity in our literature, and advocates for inclusive and relevant educational experiences for all event participants regardless of gender, race, religious affiliation, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or abilities.
