Divided Loyalties, my Civil War-era saga of an Irish teen who volunteers to serve the men wounded after the Battle of Antietam, will be officially re-released in paperback July 1 with a brand new cover.
I am delighted to introduce it now. It is very different from the original cover, darker but softer, I think. Simpler, too, with a focus on a young, determined face. Megan Tilghman, a talented young artist just getting started, designed it for me. I think it’s beautiful.
Black Rose Writing, which published the first edition in July 2017, has retained rights for the e-book which is still available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited. The paperback will be available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble and other fine online retailers.
In addition, I’ll be signing the new edition of paperback for the very first time at the Historical Novel Society North American Reader’s Festival Saturday, June 22, 1 to 5 p.m. That will be held at the Gaylord hotel in National Harbor on the Potomac River near Washington, D.C. I really have to recommend this event to mid-Atlantic readers. If you like historical fiction, love books and love authors, this is an event you want to attend. Hope to see you there.
Great new cover!
