Get Halloween started with a good story. Whether you like romance, mystery, thriller or comedy, you’ll want to spend your afternoon at the SIMPLY WRITTEN HERE book showcase Saturday, October. 31, 12-3 pm. at Simply Made Here, located at 2302 Frederick Road, in Catonsville.
In addition to 20 authors, we will have a storyteller stopping by to tell spooky stories set in the Baltimore area. You won’t want to miss that. Our local authors, representing everything from romance to mystery to children’s fiction and travel, will be on hand.

You’ll want to stop here for the crafts, too. This book festival will take place at Simply Made Here, a wonderful artisan’s shop. Crafters have designed all sorts of items just for readers: special bookmarks (some made of wood or leather), artworks celebrating books, mugs and water bottles. If you’ve been here, you know!
Where is Simply Made Here? On Frederick Road, on the way to Historic Ellicott City. Here’s a map. It’s easily accessible from the Beltway, Route 40 or Route 29. Even I-95! There is plenty of parking.
